Local History Link
In 1987 the Federation decided to augment the journal with a more contemporary, chatty update publication and the Local History Link was born. For the next 13 years, compiled by Doreen Corcoran, it was circulated widely, in Societies, local libraries, museums etc, reaching a peak production of 10,000 copies. When Due North, the Federation’s successor to Ulster Local Studies was launched in 1999, the Link was incorporated in the journal. Local History Link is a invaluable record of what was happening in local studies in the years from 1987 to 2000 and the Federation is glad to be able to produce this complete set of the publications.
